西周王朝和四土诸侯通过宗法分封制和畿服之制的原则和精神 ,初步建立起颇为严格的等级秩序和统一的中央集权制国家的早期模式。各封国诸侯代表天子对其他封地进行治理 ,同时向天子履行朝贡、从征等政治、经济、军事各方面的义务。西周王朝统治者正是依靠这种逐步确立但仍具有一定原始性的中央和地方关系 ,加强西周王朝与四土诸侯之间在政治、经济、军事乃至文化等多方面的联系 ,从而不断巩固和完善以周天子为天下共主的等级秩序和发展中的国家结构
Through the principle and spirit of the system of patriarchal clan system and the system of ki service, the Western Zhou Dynasty and the four vassal princes initially established a rather strict hierarchical order and a unified early model of a centralized state. All the feudal lords, on behalf of the emperor, govern other fiefs and at the same time, perform tribute to the emperor and fulfill their obligations in all political, economic and military fields. The Western Zhou Dynasty rulers relied on such gradually established but still primitive relations between the central and local authorities to strengthen the political, economic, military and even cultural ties between the Western Zhou Dynasty and the four soil princes so as to continuously consolidate the Perfecting the hierarchical order with Zhou Tianzai as the master of the world and the developing state structure
