笔者认为合理藏书量不可以用公式或硬性的指标形式事先加以确定,因为各级各类图书馆有自己的特殊情况。国内学者主张以80%的满足率和60%～100%的利用率来作为确定合理藏书量的两个参照指标,在实践中也是难以实行的。就“合理藏书量”这一概念本身来说也具有模糊性。笔者认为藏书数量的合理性涉及到多种因素,如本馆的人财物承受能力及读者服务能力、藏书结构体系安排、借阅制度、地区文献资源共享状况
I believe that a reasonable amount of books can not be used formula or rigid indicators in advance to determine the form, because all types of libraries at all levels have their own special circumstances. Domestic scholars advocate that using 80% satisfaction rate and 60% ~ 100% utilization rate as two reference indexes to determine the reasonable collection amount is also difficult to be practiced in practice. The concept of “reasonable collection of books” is also ambiguous. The author believes that the rationality of the collection of books involves a variety of factors, such as the ability of the museum’s personal belongings and the ability of readers to serve, the arrangement of collection structure, borrowing system, the sharing of regional literature resources
