内燃机车工作时,柴油机燃料所产生总热量的25—30%要通过冷却系统借助冷却风扇排往大气。其中润滑油从柴油机散出的热量占4—10%,这些热量将通过热交换器传递给冷却水,以保证各运动摩擦件在正常温度下工作。因此,冷却风扇和热交换器是内燃机车冷却系统主要部件之一。它的技术性能将直接影响到机车柴油机的正常工作和功率发挥,关系到柴油机的工作可靠性和经济性。为研制新型高效率冷却风扇、降低辅助功率消耗、改进传热性能、缩小冷却传热面积,研制新型热交换器,建立冷却风扇试验台和热交换器试验台是必不可少的。可是多年来,我国铁路系统并没有这样的试验台。铁道部科学研究院机车车辆研究所传热及气动研究室发扬
When diesel locomotives work, 25-30% of the total heat generated by the diesel fuel is discharged to the atmosphere through the cooling system by means of cooling fans. Among them, the lubricating oil dissipates 4-10% of the heat from the diesel engine, and the heat will be transmitted to the cooling water through the heat exchanger to ensure that all the moving friction parts work under the normal temperature.
