To use one word to describe Europe today, it is “change.” Of course, the home appliance industry is no exception. Compared to the rest of the world, the market for the European appliance industry is still fragmented, but it is extending all over Europe and beyond Europe. Some companies find that survival is not as easy as it used to be. Growth in the Eastern European market, competition in Asian companies, price cuts, retail integration, etc. are all European home appliance manufacturers need to face the problem.
