Objective To investigate the process of inflammation in blood vessels and cells during acute stroke. Methods We observed the changes of cell adhesion molecules such as CD11a, CD11b, CD62 and CD3 in 46 patients with acute stroke by flow cytometry. Results CD11a was increased in both ICH and cerebral infarction groups (3.59 / 12.75 / control group, 1.84, P <0.01), CD62 also increased significantly (17.91 / 15.13 / 9.11, P <0 01), but CD11b showed a down-regulated change. Conclusion The results of this experiment show that there are many changes of cell adhesion molecules in different types of stroke, and the results of cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral infarction are different. It may be of positive significance to carry out the intervention for the change of the above process.
