安全、可靠和廉价地和平利用核能,一直是全球关注的问题。曾有无数的方案,而开发与研究中的袖珍核电站乃其中之一。该方案的核心技术是易于运输的、一次性使用的、全密封的以及高度自动化的长寿命轻便型反应堆,它可连续使用30年无须添加燃料。这就增加了今后在偏远地区和发展中国家应用的吸引力和可行性。
The peaceful, secure and cheap use of nuclear energy has always been a global concern. There have been numerous programs and one of them is the development and research of pocket-sized nuclear power plants. The core technology of the program is easy-to-transport, single-use, fully sealed, and highly automated long-life portable reactor that can be used continuously for 30 years without additional fuel. This will increase the attractiveness and feasibility of future applications in remote areas and developing countries.
