《联合画报》是第二次世界大战的产物,美英在重庆的新闻处联合创办,舒宗侨主编。画报以摄影图片为主报道新闻,反映战争形势,揭露打击敌人,鼓舞我军民士气,被誉为是投向敌人的“纸弹”。反法西斯战争胜利以后,《联合画报》转让给舒宗侨经营,并迁上海出版,于上海解放前夕终刊。本文对该画报作了较详细的介绍,还介绍了舒宗侨的经历,及出版画史,保存史料的功绩。
“United Pictorial” is the product of World War II, the United States and Britain co-founded in Chongqing’s Information Services, Shu Zongqiao editor. Pictorials mainly cover the news with photographic pictures, reflecting the war situation, revealing the blow to the enemy and encouraging the morale of our army and people and are hailed as the “paper bomb” for the enemy. After the victory of the anti-fascist war, “United Pictorial” was transferred to Shuzong’s overseas operations and moved to Shanghai for publication, ending on the eve of the liberation of Shanghai. This article made a more detailed introduction to the pictorial, also introduced Shu Zongqiao’s experience, and published the history of the painting, save the historical merit.
