本文对国内外汽车排气消声器研制的进展作了较全面的综合介绍,着重从工程实际应用的角度阐述与排气消声器设计有关的一些技术问题,涉及声传播的较深入的理论问题在本文内暂不讨论.我国国标《机动车辆允许噪声》中规定:中型载重车一九八五年一月一日前为90dB(A),以后为86dB(A);美国环保机构一九七四年十月发表的条款规定,总重量为2吨以上的新车允许噪声(按SAE366b测量方法),一九七七年一月以后为89dB(A),一九八一年一月以后为86dB(A),一九八三年以后为81dB(人),日本、欧州各国也与上述情况类似.这就向工程师们提出了非常严格的要求,即对汽车噪声需要不断地采取降噪措施,设计、制造低噪声的车辆.为此目的汽车行业近十几年来为发展一种为环境所能接受的车辆开展了竞争性的研究:包括先进的振动分析和试验技术,声学以及先进的光学方法在振动研究上的应用.
