This article links relevant research literature in the field of new media and social movements and focuses on the information dissemination and mobilization of WeChat in the Chinese solidarity with Leipzig Parade. This article proposes that WeChat breaks the boundary between public and private and makes many people who have no strong willingness to participate unconsciously to participate in the dissemination of information, thus exceeding the plight of collective action. In addition, WeChat reduces the costs of creating and organizing collective actions and shapes collective identities. However, weChat does not replace the traditional mobilization mode represented by fellow associations and can not replace the mainstream Western social media.
