The nature of these remarks, just as other aspects of the rightist rhetoric in other parts of society, have deny the achievements of socialist construction, negate the party’s leadership and try to reverse the direction of socialism. Our archivists must refute these rightists’ arguments and make it clear that they are big and not right. If we follow these rightist statements, the archives construction in our country will be at risk of death. One of the rightist and most important ones is to attack us to learn from the Soviet Union. To say that the experience of the Soviet Union is not suitable for China and that we study from the Soviet Union is a dogmatic move by mechanical handling.
