功率放大器是发射机非常关键的部件,广泛应用于通信、雷达等微波系统,其性能将影响整个系统的技术指标,因此微波功率放大器的设计成了微波发射系统的关键。现阶段,米波段雷达的应用越来越广,米波段功率放大器的需求也逐渐增多。介绍利用ADS设计米波段功率放大器的详细过程,并给出量终的实物测试结果,输出功率>10W,增益平坦度<0.5dB,效率>50%,仿真设计结果和实测结果基本一致。
Power amplifier is a very critical part of the transmitter. It is widely used in microwave systems such as communications and radar. Its performance will affect the technical specifications of the entire system. Therefore, the design of a microwave power amplifier has become the key to the microwave transmitting system. At this stage, the application of m-band radar is getting wider and wider, and the demand of m-band power amplifiers is gradually increasing. The detailed process of designing the m-band power amplifier by ADS is introduced. The physical test results of final output are given. The output power is more than 10W, the gain flatness is less than 0.5dB and the efficiency is more than 50%. The simulation results are in good agreement with the measured ones.
