民族预科生进入大学之前接受的汉语教育以习得语言技能为主,基本能够满足日常听、说交流等方面的需要。但是本科阶段的公共课程与专业课程,对汉语水平的要求,无论是语言运用的准确度、深度,还是对汉语文化了解的广度都有了新的要求。让民族预科生在一年的过渡期中较快实现汉语水平的提高是一项艰巨的任务,在这个过程中,不能再延续之前的机械语言知识教学,而应该深入开展文化教学,让学生通过对汉文化的广泛了解,尽快实现从蒙语到汉语的语言运用与思维转换的自由。
