Numerous studies on radiation induced damage effects have been carried out in monolayer cells and provided some instructive roles in radiation prevention. However, compared with the monolayer (2D) cell cultures, cells in vivo grow within a physiological environment which has the physical support, chemical factors, cell-cell and cell-matrix interaction, etc.[1-4]. In this situation the behavior of cells in vivo after stress will be different from that of 2D cultures. Thus, more experiments about the radiation induced damage effects in vivo should be carried out to assess the risk induced by low or high LET irradiation. Cells cultured in three dimensional (3D)
