Leukocyte infiltration is a common morphological feature of ischemic myocardium and brain tissue. Activated white blood cells produce highly reactive oxygen free radicals, which inactivate cellular membranes and enzymes and cause lipid peroxidation, further damaging ischemic tissue. This article reports the results of leukocyte activity tests of acute and hemorrhagic stroke. Methods Acute cerebral ischemia or cerebral hemorrhage were performed in 52 cases with a mean age of 66 years. There were 27 males and 13 females with cerebral ischemia, 10 males and 10 females with cerebral hemorrhage. All confirmed by CT, lesions in the right hemisphere in 23 cases, left hemisphere in 29 cases. Patients without acute or chronic infection. All ancillary checks are on
