广西壮族自治区统计局统计数据表明,2006年我区经济在“十五”快速增长的基础上继续保持又快又好的发展势头,主要经济指标增长均快于2005年同期,为全年经济增长目标的实现打下了坚实的基础。2006年上半年我区生产总值达到2012．48亿元,比2005年同期增长13．6％,增幅创近12年来同期新高。经济运行的稳定性和持续性进一步增强。GDP连续3年上半年增速保持在12％以上,连续11个季度增速保持在11％以上,连续3个季度增速保持在13％以上。
