农历五月初五为端午,又有戌衣、戌衣日、天中节、重午节、端阳等别称。端午本来起源于祈求丰收的“先农祭”及其祭礼游戏,后来列入四大节日(春节、端午、寒食、中秋)之一的韩国传统民俗。在传统社会里无论在宫廷还是民间每年都举行盛大活动,至今在农村仍然被认为是一个重要节日,并保存着民间节日和祈愿丰收祭的传统特色。 五月是农民为播种而集中投入劳力之后等待成熟的时间,因此也是农民可以暂时放手松口气的间歇期。因几个月不断劳动,他们在身体和精神上感到非常疲劳困倦,需要解除疲劳养蓄体力,为此就产生了端午节。
Lunar New Year’s Day five is the Dragon Boat Festival, there are Xu clothes, clothes day, day festival, Lunar New Year, Duan Yang and other names. Dragon Boat Festival originated in the pray for good harvest, “Xiannong Festival” and its sacrificial ceremony, and later included in the four major festivals (Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Cold Food, Mid-Autumn Festival) one of the traditional Korean folk. In traditional societies, grand events are held every year, both in the court and in the private sector, and are still regarded as an important festival in the countryside to date and preserve the traditional features of folk festivals and prayers. May is the time for the peasants to wait for maturity after concentrating on their labor for sowing, and thus is also a period of intermittency during which farmers can temporarily relieve themselves. As a result of a few months of continuous work, they physically and mentally feel very tired and sleepy, they need to relieve their fatigue and build their own energy, thus resulting in a Dragon Boat Festival.
