甲醛释放和耐水性是脲醛树脂应用中存在的主要问题。试验采用SiO2对脲醛树脂进行改性,得出的最佳合成工艺为F/U=1.15,在树脂合成后于室温下采用机械共混方式导入经硅烷偶联剂KH550处理过的微米SiO2,用量为UF树脂总量的1.5%。用这种改性树脂压制的中密度纤维板(MDF)性能可达到国家标准优等品的要求,游离甲醛释放量也可达到国标GB 18580-2001《室内装饰装修材料-人造板及其制品中甲醛释放量》中E1级要求。
