悬念是一种学习心理机制,它是由学生对所学对象感到疑惑不解而又想解决它时产生的一种心理状态,对大脑皮层有强烈而持续的刺激作用,使人一时既猜不透、想不通,又丢不开、放不下。所以悬念的设置,能激发学生的学习动机和兴趣,活跃思维、丰富想象、加强记忆,并有利于培养学生克服困难的意志力。教师在课堂教学中,要巧妙地捕捉、设置悬念,以激发学生探索新知识的兴趣,提高课堂教学效益。
