《义务教育英语课程标准》中明确指出:“初一英语教学要使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成积极有效的学习策略,发展自主学习能力和合作精神。”这是英语课程的主要任务之一。在新课程倡导的任务型教学背景下,组织有效的英语小组活动有着十分积极的意义。对于绝大多数学生来说,英语的学习使学生无法完全吸收和掌握所学英语知识,所以,探索用创新的小组分组的模式,将小组合作学习不仅使用在了课堂中,也能够延伸到课前和课后的英语学习中,通过每人组长制学习合作小组的模式,发挥其独特的作用,发现了每人组长制学习合作小组的模式能够很大程度上发挥学生的积极性、主动性,挖掘学生的潜能,使之真正成为英语教学的主体,并树立学生持续学习英语的信心和激发学生对英语学习的兴趣,这种自主化的学习能将初一学生英语入门的学习变得更加容易和轻松。
