Wonderful metaphor In 1920, the famous Soviet educator Kalinin made a report at a meeting. At that time, some peasants did not quite understand the importance of the worker-peasant alliance and asked Kalinian the question: “What is more precious for the Soviet government, is it a worker or a farmer?” In response, Kalinin raised his voice to ask questions : “What is more precious to a person, is the left leg or the right leg?” After listening to the peasants cheered, applause prolonged. A wonderful metaphor is often more understandable and convincing than the lengthy elaboration of a profound truth.
