Itzhak Pitsou Kedem, born in 1970 in Israel and graduated from the British Academy of Architecture, founded Pitsou Kedem Architects in 2002. The company now has eight senior titles of architects, mainly to undertake private and commercial projects. Pitsou’s architecture was inspired by the modernist architect Mies van der Rohe’s concept of “less is more”. His architecture emphasizes the creation of clean, harmonious and unmodified design language with as few elements as possible. Unlike traditional Israeli architecture, Pitsou is designed to create a light, soft atmosphere in shades of white, gray and black, using natural colors such as hazel and teak to break the habit of customizing roofs in Israel .
