1-甲基-4苯基-1,2,3,6-4氢基吡啶(MPTP)运用不当或在化学合成过程中与之接触可引起帕金森综合征。其临床特征与纹状体多巴胺缺乏所造成的十分相似。帕金森病兰斑中去甲肾上腺素神经元也受累。而MPTP引起的帕金森综合征则不受影响。由此可提示去甲肾上腺素代谢产物的差别可能有助于区别之。为确定MPTP对人类中枢和周围生物胺系统的毒性作用,作者分别测定了MPTP所致帕金森综合征、帕金森病及正常人脑脊液中多巴胺、去甲肾上腺素和血清素的主要代谢产物高香草酸、3-甲氧基-4羟基乙二醇(MHPG)和5-羟吲哚醋酸以及尿中去甲肾上腺素的代谢产物的含
Parkinson’s syndrome can be caused by improper use of 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-4-hydropyridine (MPTP) or its contact with chemical synthesis. Its clinical features are very similar to those caused by striatal dopamine deficiency. Norepinephrine neurons in Parkinson’s disease plaque are also involved. The MPTP-induced Parkinson’s syndrome is not affected. This suggests that differences in norepinephrine metabolites may help distinguish them.
