本研究探讨了英文歌曲背景下对形态习得(曲折、派生和复合词)的影响。50名中国学生参与了此次课程实验,并于课程前和后完成两次测试。从预测试的结果显示,三组不同词汇水平的学生已经对英语形态知识有一定的了解。研究结果显示:通过英文歌曲教学可以提高学习者在语素发展的接受能力。然而,仅靠英文歌曲提高学习者的产出知识仍显不足。此项研究还表明,低词汇量学生的语素发展明显低于词汇量较高的学生。基于本次研究结果及以往研究发现提出了相关的教学建议。
This study explores the impact of morphological acquisition (twists, turns, derivatives, and compound words) on the background of English songs. Fifty Chinese students participated in the course experiment and completed two tests before and after the course. From the results of the pre-test, three groups of students with different vocabulary levels have some knowledge of English morphology. The result of the research shows that learners’ acceptance of morpheme development can be improved through English song teaching. However, it is still not enough to improve learners’ output knowledge based solely on English songs. The study also showed that morphemes of students with low vocabulary were significantly lower than those with higher vocabulary. Based on the results of this study and previous research findings, relevant teaching suggestions were put forward.
