目前,学界关于高句丽早期历史的认识虽不尽相同,但是相关研究都基本未脱离传统的研究体系,亦即以《三国史记》为核心的研究框架。而事实上,这一体系本身便存在着两大误区:其一,将《三国史记》所载有关高句丽早期历史的历史传说视为史实。其二,是以南北朝以后的中原史料与好太王碑铭的内容来证明《三国史记》所载传说的真实性,却不知道这些史料系出同源。传说中的朱蒙、类利、无恤这前三王未必就是高氏祖先,他们很可能出自不同时代、不同部落有着不同的身世的高句丽民族的英雄。
At present, the academic circles’ cognition about the early history of Goguryeo is not the same, but the related researches basically have not deviated from the traditional research system, that is, the research frame centered on the Historical Records of the Three Kingdoms. In fact, there are two major misunderstandings in this system. First, it takes historical legends about the early history of Goguryeo as contained in the Historical Records of the Three Kingdoms as its historical facts. Second, to prove the authenticity of the legends contained in the Historical Records of the Three Kingdoms, based on the historical data of the Central Plains and the inscriptions on the so-called Tai Pang, after the Northern and Southern Dynasties, it is not known that these historical sources are homologous. Legend has it that the former three kings are not necessarily the ancestors of Gao who are likely to come from the heroes of the Goguryeo nation with different life experiences in different times and tribes.
