Objective To explore the role of cluster nursing in reducing the risk of catheter-related infection in hemodialysis patients. Methods The clinical data and the course of treatment of 150 hemodialysis patients with uremia were retrospectively analyzed. According to the patients’ specific conditions and the principle of informed consent, these patients were divided into experimental group and control group, with 75 cases in each group and only in control group The patients in the experimental group received intensive care on the basis of traditional nursing to prevent the catheter-related infection in patients. After a period of time, the curative effect of the two groups of patients was observed. Results The results showed that the catheter-related infection rate and satisfaction of the experimental group were 1.33% and 96.0%, respectively, which were 16.0% and 78.7% in the control group. The experimental group was significantly better than the control group (P <0.05) . Conclusions The intensive care during hemodialysis patients can significantly reduce the incidence of catheter-related infections in patients, ensure the dialysis effect, alleviate the symptoms of patients, improve the long-term quality of life of patients, and patients with higher satisfaction , It is worth to promote use.
