棉花任一果枝或果节的花瓣旋向都有一定的规律可循 ,花瓣的顺时针与逆时针旋向与纤维品质有关 ,其中顺时针旋向的花与纤维长度、强度呈正相关 ,分别达到显著和极显著的水平 ,与细度呈显著负相关。顺时针旋向的长度与强度、细度之间均呈正相关 ,分别达到显著和极显著水平 ,其强度与细度负相关不显著。逆时针旋向与长度呈正相关 ,与强度、细度、衣分呈负相关 ,但均不显著。逆时针旋向的长度与强度呈极显著正相关 ,长度与细度以及强度与细度均呈负相关不显著。利用花瓣旋向与纤维品质的这一特点可以提高育种效率。例如 ,若获得长度、强度好的杂交后代 ,应选用长度、强度较好的亲本的顺旋花等。
The petal rotation of either fruit branch or fruit node had some regularity. The clockwise and anticlockwise rotation of the petals was related to the fiber quality.
