和意义的统一体,形式上的联系被称为衔接,语义上的联系被称为连贯(沈家煊1998:745-746)。语篇表达的正是语义连贯、相互关联的信息,而语义连贯借助的则是衔接和语境。随着研究的深入,人们对语篇的逻辑结构,特别是语篇在词汇、句法和语义等不同层面上的关系结构的认识不断深化。语篇研究的理论成果已经和正在对外语教学的传统理念产生深刻的影响。本文拟借助语篇衔接与连贯研究的方法和成果,探讨如何在英语阅读教学中进行语篇逻辑关系教学,以培养和提高学生对语篇整体信息的获取能力。
With the unity of meaning, the formal connection is called cohesion, and the semantic connection is called coherence (Shen Jiaji 1998: 745-746). What the text expresses is the semantic coherence and interrelated information, while the semantic coherence is the connection and context. With the deepening of research, people’s understanding of the logical structure of discourse, especially the discourse structure in the vocabulary, syntax and semantics of the relationship structure is constantly deepened. The theoretical results of discourse studies have been and are having a profound impact on the traditional concept of foreign language teaching. This paper intends to use the methods and results of textual cohesion and coherence research to explore how to use textual logic relationship teaching in English reading teaching in order to cultivate and improve students’ ability to obtain overall textual information.
