香港经济的未来发展有赖于建立“港深城”，就是香港深圳经济一体化。由两地政府的力量来整合，这个过程可以加快；如果政府不干预，比如香港方面不愿意这样做，它仍然会完成这个过程，因为经济力量是不可抗拒的，但是香港会付出更大的代价。
