This article first gives an overview of the socio-cultural context of the late nineties and defines the concept of ’mainstream movie’ on this basis. The discussion of specific texts begins with this framework. “National Anthem,” “Red Lovers ”And“ Journey of the Yellow River ”provided the basis for this discussion for discussion, and the narrative mode and strategy of the 17-year-old revolutionary classic movie formed the frame of reference for observation.Through the analysis of different texts about hero and The remodeling and rewriting of female images and the analysis of related coding methods, the author attempts to reveal the relationship between the historical discourse and the current situation. At the same time, it attempts to illustrate the possibilities and limitations of different writing styles.
