The study found that the genetic background, age, sex and immune status of virus strains and host all affect the occurrence and development of viral myocarditis. The most important factor is the host genetic background and age. Five candidate genes were screened in coxsackievirus B3-infected mice, showing down-regulation of genes encoding beta-globin, cyclic AMP-binding protein and Nip21, coding for the induction of guanosine triphosphate, ND1 A subtype of amide adenine dinucleotide dehydrogenase). Through the biological characteristics of the five candidate genes and their abnormal expression may be directly or indirectly, the discussion of myocardial cell damage, and further elaborated the relationship between viral myocarditis and the host genetic background.
