斜鉄是用来調整机床导軌面的間隙和保持导軌面的平面接触的。它的技术要求很高,平直性每公尺不超过0.005公厘。过去我厂制造斜鉄的工艺路綫是:鍛造→粗刨→調质→精刨→平磨→刮研。由于片面地提高效率,粗刨和精刨都是在把工件一面刨到所要求的尺寸后再刨另一面,而且吃刀量都很深。这样,工件內部就产生了很大的加工应力;加上調質后的殘余应力,斜鉄变形得很厉害,弯曲度一般都在0.5公厘以上,校直很困难。
