采用木屑树皮、林下枯落物、椰糠、红粘土等为材料,经堆沤、加工及消毒处理制作轻基质网袋容器,将培育约1个月且已发根的木麻黄(Casuarina equisetifolia L.)水培苗移入容器内,经过合适的水肥管理,培育4个月、苗高达40cm以上即可出圃造林。运用该技术已实现了木麻黄无性系苗木的工厂化生产,而且造林实践表明,木麻黄轻基质苗木造林成活率达92%以上,3年生幼林平均树高、胸径分别达到10.5m和6.2cm,造林成效显著。
