本研究通过对比中国学习者英语语料库(CLEC)和英国国家语料库(BNC),调查了中国英语学习者在写作中对keep短语动词的使用情况。调查结果表明中国英语学习者在写作中使用keep短语动词的能力随着英语水平的提高而增强,但和英语母语者相比中国英语学习者在总数上超用keep短语动词,且超用现象集中于个别keep短语动词,而少用其它大量keep短语动词。深入调查后发现中国英语学习者在写作中使用keep短语动词具体存在小品词误用和使用冗余两点失误。在此基础上,总结出短语动词的教学方法,旨在促进中国学习者英语短语动词的教学研究。
This study investigates the use of keep phrase verbs by Chinese EFL learners in writing by comparing the CLEC with the BNC. The survey results show that Chinese EFL learners’ ability to use keep phrasal verbs in writing is enhanced with the improvement of English proficiency, but Chinese EFL learners outnumber the keep phrasal verbs in comparison with English speakers and the phenomenon of overuse Keep the individual phrase phonetic while keeping the other large number of phrase phonetic. After in-depth investigation, it was found that Chinese EFL learners use keep phrasal verbs in writing specifically for mistakes in using and writing errors. Based on this, the author summarizes the teaching methods of phrasal verbs, which aims to promote the teaching and learning of Chinese learners’ phrasal verbs.
