As the American artist Laurie Anderson wrote in her song “The Dream,” “History is the angel who returns to the future with the wind.” This coincides with Walt Benjamin’s interpretation of Paul Klee’s “New Angel”, in which the emotional image of human violence and progress appears to have once again become a guiding curatorial inspiration that inspired contemporary Taipei Art Center exhibition “portrait posing ”.
