裘帕·拉希莉是美国当代知名印裔女作家,截至目前为止,其一共创作了《疾病解说者》、《同名人》、《不适之地》、《低地》四部小说,每部作品一经出版便好评不断,研究者们运用不同理论从不同角度对其作品进行了解读。通过分析我们发现,发起于南亚的庶民学派的相关理论也与拉希莉的小说创作紧密相连,特别是该学派所倡导的从属性与主体性相统一的庶民意识在拉希莉的作品中得到反复书写和重现。
Joaquí Rachel is a well-known contemporary Indian woman writer in the United States. So far, she has created four novels: “Disease Interpreter”, “Person of the same name”, “Place of discomfort” and “Lowland” The press was praised constantly, researchers used different theories to interpret their works from different angles. Through the analysis we find that the related theories originated from the common people school in South Asia are also closely linked with Rasheli’s novel creation. Especially, the common sense advocated by the school of subordination and subjectivity is obtained in Rasheli’s works Repeatedly written and reproduced.
