New processes for magnetic-re-sorting have been developed and applied to: (a) metal separation of car sheared fragments; and (b) mineral separation of diamond-bearing sea sand concentrate. The magnetic-re-sorting method is based on this respective weight difference in the colloidal suspension of magnetite particles.
