今年九月机械电子工业部第二十三研究所会同中国人民解放军上海电缆厂军代表室,对八三年敷设在舟山海区的我国第一根海底光缆进行了复测及调研。这是一根四芯多模海底光缆,其光缆芯由二十三所研制,外铠装层由上海电缆厂加工;结构是在六槽骨架内紧嵌四芯多模紧套光纤,二芯聚乙烯绝缘信号线,聚乙烯内护套,氩弧焊皱纹铜管,聚乙烯外护套,φ5.7钢丝单层铠装,沥青黄麻外被,聚氯乙烯粘带。该光缆属试验研究性的。八三年曾作过敷设打捞试验
