In order to investigate the mechanism of delayed neurotoxicity of organophosphorous herbicide Amiprophos, ~(35)S-aminocampulin was synthesized. A preliminary study was conducted on the metabolism of aminoxam in rats using the labeled compound. The results showed that the rats were able to discharge about 90% of the dose of radioactive sulphur within 48 hours after the (35)S-aminosulfate was ingested.
