There is a story that directly depicts the subtleties of workplace friendship: two hedgehogs, warm together by the cold. However, because they each have long thorns, too close to each other will be tied to each other, too far away, will be too cold to stand. After many twists and turns, finally found a suitable distance, not too painful, nor too cold. In the workplace, dealing with the close relationship with superiors, colleagues and customers, in fact, is to find the “warm and not be tied ” distance. If you can not find the right distance, it will cause tension in relationships. A survey of workplace friendships also showed that having a good friend among coworkers could be a major factor in influencing work-time attention, including over-chatting, over-play, hard-working, and entertaining Wait. This shows that workplace friendship is like a double-edged sword. It is definitely a good thing to be united and friendly at work, but at the same time realize the potential problems of this phenomenon and how to manage workplace friendship.
