In Intel’s product planning, low-end processors are not only weaker than high-end products at the same frequency, but they should not be clocked at the lowest frequencies that high-end processors are produced in. As Intel’s mainstream high-end processors have been converted to Pentium 4, the lowest frequency in the production also up to 1.4GHz, so Intel released the highest frequency Celeron 1.3GHz. Although Duron was outdone and soon climbed to the same frequency, relatively speaking, we are more concerned about Celeron, because, starting from 1GHz, Celeron began using the original core of the original Pentium Ⅲ - Tualatin, as New low-end processor core.
