昆仑早在先秦时期就见诸史籍,虽历经数千年的解读,学界对其意义仍有争议。笔者拣选前人研究成果,整理出了“昆仑”词意的四种说法——混沦(混沌或浑沦)、旋转或圆;“高、大”;“天”和“黑”之意。笔者认为,“昆仑”观念是从古代西北族群中传播到中原地区的,很可能是西北诸部族对“天”的原始宗教情感的浓缩;今日残存的“昆仑”观念见证了早期中原与西北族群间交流的悠久历史。
Kunlun as early as the pre-Qin period to see historical records, although after thousands of years of interpretation, the academic community is still controversial about its significance. The author selects the predecessors’ research results and sorts out four kinds of saying of “Kunlun” meaning - mixed (chaos or perish), rotation or circle, “high and big”, “day” and “Black ” meaning. The author believes that the concept of “Kunlun” spread from the ancient northwestern ethnic groups to the Central Plains. It is probably the enrichment of the original religious sentiments of the “Heaven” in the northwestern tribes. The concept of “Kunlun” remaining today witnesses The early history of exchanges between Central Plains and Northwest Territories.
