The story of the Bible is an inexhaustible source of Western literary and world literature, and of course is also a source of inspiration for Conrad writing. Although Conrad claims that he no longer believes in Christianity, the essence of the loyalty and kindness of the educators in the Bible is not unusual for him. Because of his familiarity with the Bible story, Conrad first used some of the Bible vocabulary and allusions as a conditioned reflexive mantra, his unconscious call to God - the embodiment of the deep-seated justice in people’s hearts. Second, he used the excellent image in the Bible as a symbol of the elite among mankind to inspire and praise “goodness” in human nature while allowing people to see, dislike, deter and discard the “evil” part of their nature. In addition, the Bible stories used by Conrad are used to subvert some of the characters and criticize the repressive part of Christian doctrine.
