BACKGROUND: Bone stress around implants and implants is one of the main factors that affect the long-term use of implants. Therefore, the scientific design and selection of implants are one of the important means to prolong the service life of implants. OBJECTIVE: To optimize the design and analysis of the diameter of the connector screw and the central screw in the dental implant which can be adjusted at an earlier stage. Methods: The maxillary equivalent stress of the implant - bone tissue system was analyzed by using Pro / E 5.0, Mimics 10.0 and ANSYS Workbench 14.5 software to establish a toothless occlusal mandibular finite element model with adjustable angle dental implants. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: From the sensitivity curve, it can be seen that the maximum equivalent stress of implant-bone system is greatly influenced by the change of screw diameter of the connector, but the influence of the change of the diameter of the central screw is negligible. When the vertical force was applied, the maximum equivalent stress of the implant-bone tissue system was the smallest when the screw diameter of the connector was 1.29 mm and the diameter of the central screw was 0.95 mm. When the horizontal lingual force was applied, the screw diameter of the connector was 1.45 mm When the diameter of the central screw is 1.09 mm, the maximal equivalent stress of the implant-bone tissue system is the smallest. The results show that the effect of screw diameter on the equivalent stress peak of the mandibular and implant-abutment complex is much greater than that of the central screw, suggesting that more emphasis should be placed on the ratio of central screw to that of the central screw in implant selection and design Choice and design.
