随着社会改革深入及企业竞争加巨,新时期下对企业员工关系管理提出了新的要求。从企业角度分析,要想建立和谐社会,就应该进行和谐管理,通过管理达到人与物的和谐、人与人的和谐;新的劳动法对现有企业员工关系管理又提出了更高的要求,在企业的发展过程中需要建立和谐的员工关系。如果没有构建和谐的劳动关系,企业既不可能在经济上具有较大的发展力,也不可能促进员工的和谐发展,而整个社会也不可能从根本上构建和谐社会。
