Based on Freudian psychoanalysis theory, the author completely secularized Shi Xiu’s heroic image in “Outlaws of the Marsh” Rewrite. This article discusses the two attributes of historical novels and psychoanalysis novels, and explores the hidden subjective discourse pursues in this historical novel by analyzing the psychological course of Shi Xiuqi, the historical “epidermis ” attribute of the novel and the author ’s creative motivation.
