对油松灌木林中树木叶片结构、水分状况以及生理等方面的研究结果表明,小叶锦鸡儿、胡枝子、紫穗槐、沙棘等灌木比较耐旱、根系发达、耗水量小,造林成活率和保存率高,适于辽西地区生长。营造油松灌木混交林能形成生态上稳定的林分,在增加林分相对湿度、降低温度、改善土壤理化性质等方面效益显著,并能提高油松生长量、减少病虫危害。在辽西地区宜大力发展油松灌木混交林。
