我国有着数千年的文化历史,其中陶瓷的几何纹饰经过数千年历史文化的洗涤,在风格上不同的时期有着不同的特征,也成为一种有责独特的系统的文化内涵组织结构,是炎黄祖先留给我们最宝贵的物质文化遗产。在中国悠久的历史文化中,陶瓷占着很大一部分重量,其中陶瓷的纹饰一向是陶瓷装饰中最重要的手段之一,陶瓷装饰样式在彩陶的应用中相当成熟,在图像制作运用上高度抽象的手法,早已成为我国原始艺术创作的典范。但在陶瓷设计上我们不仅需要继承传统,同时也在注重在传统的基础上创新发展。传统的陶瓷纹饰是设计的基础源泉,但是在传统的基础上也应当赋予传统问世新的设计文化内涵。传统纹饰文化是设计的生命力和根基,现代陶瓷文化创业产业中的原创设计,应当在坚持民主文化传统的基础上融入新的设计元素。
