根据无损检测专业技术发展和学术交流的需要,结合贵州实际情况,贵州省机械工程学会决定将无损检测学组升为无损检测学会,于1980年12月4～6日在贵阳召开了成立大会,同时举办学术报告会。来自全省14个系统50个单位的72名会员出席了大会,同时邀请了40余名从事无损检测工作的专业人员一起听了7个学术报告。省科协、省市机械工程学会的领导出席大会并讲了话。
