为了解决穿层钻孔预抽煤层瓦斯时抽采浓度低、抽采效果差,造成煤层消突不彻底这一难题,在设计钻孔时在常规穿层钻孔预抽瓦斯技术的基础上采用掏穴扩孔工艺。通过对煤层段进行扩孔增加对周围煤体的扰动,增大钻孔周围煤体的膨胀变形程度,使得煤层卸压更加充分,煤层的透气性增强,钻孔预抽瓦斯的消突效果提高,煤与瓦斯突出的可能性降低。
