湖南财经学院(原名湖南财贸学院)创办于1960年,是中国人民银行总行与湖南省双重领导,以中国人民银行总行领导为主的一所科类比较齐全的综合性高等财经院校,也是湖南省唯一的一所本科财经院校。建院27年来,特别是党的十一届三中全会以来,学院逐步发展,现已拥有研究生、本科、专科(含干部专修班、夜大、函授)等多种层次的办学形式,同时承担了湖南省高等教育会计、统计等专业的自学考试主考任务。学院现设有9个系(部)、12个专业,在校学生3千人,专任教师500余人。学院的会计专业教育在建院27年来,走过了一段曲折发展的道路。1960年学院初建时,设有会计系,下设工业财务会计、商业财务会计两个专业,文革前共招收了6届本科学生。十年浩 Founded in 1960, Hunan Institute of Finance and Economics (formerly Hunan Institute of Finance and Trade) was a comprehensive higher-level finance and economics institution mainly under the leadership of the People’s Bank of China and Hunan Province, and led by the head office of the People’s Bank of China.
